Land Design Reception Signage
LandDesign, an international landscape architecture firm with offices around the US, contacted ACSM to fabricate and install custom signage for their Charlotte based office. Our team collaborated with their talented design department to create an elegant, approachable extension of their brand.
Alchemy Restaurant Signs and Facade
ACSM converted this 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility into one of South End Charlotte’s most innovative culinary experiences. A dramatic wooden facade announces the entrance into the gallery dining room where guests are drawn by the warm elegance of the bar. Custom shelving and a beautiful walnut centerpiece compliment this thoughtfully curated gathering space. Like a jolt of energy, a playful Mid-Century Modern inspired sign hangs above the café. Created using a blend of textures and materials, this sign subtly features an inlay design of the actual coffee beans served to customers.
With roots in 1950’s old world traditions of hand-lettering & gold leaf, ACSM now employs sign design & fabrication techniques that leverage today’s composite materials and computer aided manufacturing.
City of Shelby Facility Signage
ACSM has been instrumental in the visual transformation of uptown Shelby. In 2016, the city decided on renovating an old bank building in the heart of the downtown for their new police headquarters. The project of course required some new exterior signage to help welcome the department to the neighborhood.
A few blocks away, the newly constructed City Pavilion was ready to host events and activities for eager visitors. ACSM was ready to design and fabricate the large steel and aluminum hanging signs. A few years later, when the town honored a legendary local athlete by renaming the facility the Bobby Bell Pavilion, ACSM was there to refit the structure with the brand new monicker.
